Homeschool always welcomes applications from all experienced ESL teachers wishing to join our professional, dynamic and creative team of teachers.

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional ESL instructors who have a genuine love of teaching. If you are truly confident that you would carry yourself in a professional, yet relaxed manner and work for the benefit of Homeschool, the students and yourself, please submit your application.

Requirements:

» For Polish Teachers of English: teacher's university degree (mgr) in English including certified absolutorium or college degree in English

» For Native Speakers of English: University or college degree + RSA CTEFLA/ CELTA/ Trinity/ RELSA (or equivalents = course min. 80 hrs, 6 hrs observed TP)

» minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in private language schools)

» passion and smile

Step One

Submit your CV either in person, by mail or e-mail. If your CV meets our requirements and stands out of the crowd of CVs we receive every semester in huge quantities, you will be invited to the job interview. If you do not hear from us however, do not hesitate to contact us and offer your individual trail lesson that you could conduct at Homeschool. Follow this link to check how to enroll.

Step Two

You will be interviewed by the Director of Studies. The interview is in English and you will be asked about your qualifications, experience, your teaching style and teaching methodology.

Step Three

This one is optional and it depends how much more we want to know about you. If we happen to have more questions you will be asked to attend one more interview with one of our ADOS’s where you will discuss various methodology issues in a very friendly manner.

Step Four

If possible you will be asked to conduct a trial lesson to a group of Homeschool students. You will be either given the material to cover or a free choice of what to do in class. Your class will be observed and you will be given full feedback afterwards.

You might also be given a language test to write if necessary.

Please note that it is necessary to pass all four stages to become a Homeschool Team member. We are sorry it is so detailed and time consuming but we demand a lot from ourselves, our students demand a lot from us and so we want to demand from you.
